Hot Gas Regulator
• Used to meter in hot gas to maintain a minimum suction pressure
• Used to prevent low pressure due to lack of flow
• Used to prevent freezing of evaporator
Filter Drier
• Filters Contaminants And Waxes From The System
• Absorbs Moisture In The Refrigerant Preventing Acids From Forming That Will Cause Compressor Failure
Refrigerant Sight Glass
• Indicates moisture level by color indicator in eye
• Indicates low refrigerant charge seen as bubbling in glass
